@sarah_go_green There is no payback for gas, it’s standard cost for heating. Solar/batt gives access to free & cheaper energy hence feeling need to have payback. I know once I hit 4.5 years I’ll have saved as much as the install cost me and from that point the savings over gas are greater

@happysnapper999 @Otto_English If that’s the case it isn’t allowed to be used commercially. Yet it’s owned by a company for use in their business which to me says it’s being used commercially

@MartinSLewis Eon Next customer service is much better than they were a couple of years ago. Some great tariffs too especially if you have an EV or solar

@raimonick @OctopusEnergy @ofgem @neso_energy They need to incentivise DFS a bit more. So many people don’t bother because it’s often not worth it

@sjg1703 @ianaddison Yeah found some deals but still £100 and over for a family of 4, much more than I am prepared to spend to go along the river

@sarah_go_green @OctopusEnergy Storage heaters work for us. The new High Heat Retention ones are fantastic and only charge up as much as they need for the next day’s schedule. Also Eon do 7 hours at 6.7p plus a better day rate too (you need an EV or solar battery to access it though)

@LeeAndersonMP_ Wasn’t this proven to be a lie when you first posted it? Isn’t this an MMA fighter or something similar?

@AlanJLSmith And if I worked in the private sector I’d be paid double. Got to be some incentive to keep skills in the public sector because the salaries won’t!

@ukevowners I use CoPilot for work (essentially ChatGPT). It’s about £30/month. Last week I spent 30 minutes using it to simplify a task I had. It wrote (& re-wrote as it didn’t work as expected) Powershell code for me. The code saved me 3 days work. Saved the years fee

@HullTeslaModel3 Police. If she can get evidence all the better. Doesn’t have to be video although would be useful. A diary of events of each incident will be taken as evidence

@anon_opin Come to Selby and true the taxi system. You’ll then realise that in this town Uber is not the same with a different booking system, it’s a system that actually works and works well
