@RSteven36808818 @Ria1984 Successful restraint in this scenario can be achieved. I’ve seen it happen and been involved in these situations. But it requires confident, highly trained (regular practice) individuals and in the right place at right time. Very difficult.

@the__wilderness Yep Brummies are largely instinctively proud of our diverse culture, but also part of our nature not to shout about it. We have produced numerous well known writers and artists. Our food culture (and microbrewery scene) is also top.

Also some fabulous Victorian buildings close by around the Jewellery Q Not to mention the Banksys (2) within half a mile of each other… culture oozing from Oozels square ,Ikon and surrounding canals.

@ruth_millington Some luminaries on that list. On a visit to San Francisco not long ago all they wanted to talk about was Peaky Blinders. We’ve also got a food culture (and microbrewery scene) that blows most other cities away. Some ignorance in these previous takes.
