@Watch_LFC Remember Milner talking about the moment where Divock grabbed the ball like we needed another goal. An undisputed legend. To this day this goal remains one of my absolute favourites

@LFCApproved Jota honestly might actually be one of the players I could see being happy in a super sub role. Always has been a player who seems happy to do the role he’s asked to, and as we know he is lethal - especially when facing a tired defence.

@Beck_2196 @DougieCritchley I’ll give you the part about missing an important part of your defence. But that last argument makes no sense. Although this game will matter more to Celtic than the Villa game, this game is gonna be a must win for Bayern just like it was for Villa.

@Beck_2196 @DougieCritchley Absolutely they do. Villa literally blasted four past them less than two weeks ago. This isn’t the Scottish league, where I must give them credit for being a rock solid defence

@nathanjrogers @DougieCritchley I have to disagree. While Trent is not a superb defender, I seriously find the narrative around his defensive deficiencies and capabilities pretty boring. Of course he still has bad games and suspect moments, but he has improved so much, to the point where he’s a fine defender.

@nathanjrogers @DougieCritchley Trent is miles clear in terms of defending… and of course offensively

@flaher7 @bob15731653 @DougieCritchley The things that guy stated might be one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen on this platform

@bob15731653 @ScouseBengal @DougieCritchley So you’re saying that Rudiger mentioning a centre back partnership along with taking out the context of Van Dijk stating that at that age he was not at Saliba’s level, equals “most defenders and managers”? This is literally delusion and misuse of quotes.

@bob15731653 @DougieCritchley Would love to see your sources to support the statement of “most professional defenders and managers” saying Saliba is the best in the world. Because it’s simply not true And also you literally made an argument for Virgil, by saying Saliba suffers in high stakes situations

@ltG_1221 @DougieCritchley I absolutely get your point, but to play devil’s advocate, one could say that it’s even more impressive for salah to score the same type of of finishes, because it’s kind of proving his inevitability and him being unstoppable.

@ConnorHolden00 @DougieCritchley I completely agree with you on this with regards to his his tweaks, which have been elite! IMO the only real problem LFC have is offensive set piece threat. While I understand people who say there’s flaws in the tactics, in the big games the tactics have been pretty much flawless

@bentasleftacl @DougieCritchley While I kind of agree with you, maybe we’re just witnessing the gap between the so called elite sides and the rest close in?

@ConnorHolden00 @DougieCritchley I would say that from what we’ve seen so far in the “big” games vs elite teams, Slot’s tactics have probably been the most controlled, balanced and flexible, thus making them a real contender. I’m especially thinking of the games against Madrid, City, Leverkusen, Arsenal.

@DougieCritchley as a Liverpool fan I would say that being on track for 91 points in Slot’s first season in the most competitive version of the PL ever is highly impressive. finishing top of the CL in addition just proves to me that we might actually be THAT good - just to use your words:))
