People, don’t freak out. Our NHL team doesn’t play until the 22nd. The AHL continues to have games during 4 nations, so were letting the young guys play.
The Penguins have re-assigned forwards Emil Bemstrom and Vasily Ponomarev, as well as goaltender Joel Blomqvist to the @WBSPenguins (AHL). Goaltender Tristan Jarry has been recalled from WBS.

@Jeffs_Penguins I said maybe one side adding more. It could be him + something. I do think that a 1st is too much from us, but a 3rd is too low for them. Something around a 2nd, and probs a bit more could be interesting.

Assuming we decide to keep NYR’s first, what would you guys prefer? Best case scenario this season or take a risk next year?

@Jeffs_Penguins There is a chance Heiskanen still comes back this season, so they haven’t put him on LTIR yet. If he does come back, they could still take on EK, we would just have to take Dumba back. If not, then they can afford EK without dealing Dumba 👀

I know many of us wanna see Blomqvist play, but from Sullivan’s POV, he is still trying to win games. Ned has been solid the last couple of games and he has no reason to pivot from that.

@_j_a_k_e_d He’s been great. I could see teams offering us decent amounts for him at the deadline, but I would honestly rather keep him, unless we get some crazy return.
