What a terrible take. I represent OH-7…so I’m not super interested in what non-constituents (who clearly do not understand OH-07) have to say. This project could infuse more than $3 billion into our regional economy. A domed stadium would also significantly increase the number of events our region can host — from Super Bowls to NCAA Final Fours. As a member of Congress, I represent my district, and I’m committed to supporting opportunities that drive growth and prosperity. This project represents an exciting step forward.

I'm kinda done hearing from members of Congress jumping on the, "Oh my God, look at all the fraud at USAID!" bandwagon. Like Kennedy, Ernst, Blackburn. WTF have they been doing prior to this? They've had the power of the purse AND oversight responsibility as multi-term politicians. They might not be in on the fraud, but IMHO they haven't done dick-all about it. Then there are the dirtbags who aren't saying a word, acting as if nothing has been uncovered, everything is good. Have Thune, Johnson, or Graham said anything of consequence, support, or import? If they have, I've missed it. 80% to 90% of DC needs to go. Let's stop acting like these useless, grifting, lumps are doing anything but working on re-election.

@ellekarmawrites @darreldrowland Derolph was primarily about facilities, not operations and in any event, was a dozen iterations of school funding formulae ago. It has no bearing on the current system. State funding for education has increased every year but one in the past few decades.

@ellekarmawrites @darreldrowland It doesn't. It just proves that the school district got better at passing levies. State funding is predicated on the perceived need. Local levies go above and beyond that. If I pass a levy to hire 10 football coaches, that shifts the percentages. Obvious, no?
