I predict that more DTC brands that are valued $250M+ will go public this year to dump bad unit economics on unsavvy investors in the public market. So many DTC founders in my circle are avoiding the next raise and driving towards profitability.
@allthingsmarco I think you’re spot on here. It feels like the prevailing “growth over everything” mindset bubble has burst. With a lot of VC unicorns looking for an exit, it could get messy over the next few years.
