Check baled hay temperatures daily to prevent barn fires!
Some people took the early window to make dry hay. The immature crop closed stomata quickly and the surface dried out, but 3 days isn't enough to draw out all the stem moisture. We're seeing <14% at baling bounce up >18%. Check for wet/hot bales! #ontag
