Only UC Hindus, clueless about the importance of cattle for tribal and rural-poor households and Assam economy can see this as some sort of 'silver lining'. The bill is anti-muslim, anti-poor and anti-tribe. No two ways about it.
The background logic is Hindutva. Nothing else.

has assured people eating beef that it is prohibited in only around temples that were constructed earlier. No new temple constructed after this law will come under purview of it
