Today we played cricket for the first time since the tragic passing of OM Josh Baker last week. The boys’ 1st XI beat the Worcester Gents and the girls’ 1st XI lost in a cup match against

. However the afternoon was more about playing the game Josh loved so much.

The boys battled hard but found themselves 1-0 down at half time. They conceded early in the second half, to go 2-0 down, however dug deep and pulled it back to 2-2. Unfortunately they lost in the penalty shootout. Certainly a performance to be proud of, well done everyone!

A brilliant afternoon in the sun at the District Athletics Championships. Fantastic performances and lots of students qualifying for the County Championships. The day ended with success in the relay with wins for Junior Girls and Senior Boys and second place for our Senior Girls!

This evening, Sport Scholars from the 100, L6 and U6 enjoyed a nutrition workshop. The students were taught about fuelling for match day and then had a go at cooking their own fajitas! The event was very entertaining and produced some tasty food!
