@lesbianyuya after the team unicorn duel i switched from mostly liking yusei to mostly hating him. 5Ds was very good at camouflaging that yusei was invincible until that point. yusaku kind of started there and never left.

@MCulexus I remember this bit of commentary by Bill Watterson where he talked about how Calvin subscribing to a magazine dedicated to chewing gum was meant to be a ludicrous exaggeration, but it's honestly barely any more extreme than the reality of the industry at the time.
