Caregiver for my parents, sister & my husband. All died from cancer. Caring for them was the right thing to do. Even when I really didn’t want to. The physical, mental & emotional exhaustion was brutal. It was also a time of grace, courage, love and yes, laughter. Kudos 2 all ❤️

Unbeknownst to me, my daughter took this shot of me last Summer. At 62, I was just recovering from the loss of my husband of 27 yrs. The stress and grief caused a 55 lb weight loss. This was such a good day and, I’m wearing her bikini!! He would be so proud of how far I’ve come.

I worked at our local radio stations. We thought the first plane hitting WTC, was a horrible “accident.” Staff watched on TV, in our board room, as the 2nd plane hit. The first thing out of our mouths was, “THAT was no accident.” I was in a daze for days.😢

My late husband worked in a chemical plant as a Process Operator. In his over 35 years in that industry, he had cancer not once, not twice, three times. 1st time, lost a kidney. 2nd time, dodged a bullet. The 3rd, inoperable, terminal, esophageal cancer. The O&G industry kills.
