i just let time do its thing.
cried a lot. then began reading enlightening poetry, convinced myself of good things until i believed them and prayed.

I was just chilling 1day and I got an email from my department offering me a full bursary, &this was the same year Nsfas starting acting up. God really knows what I can and cannot handle, bc the struggles of Nsfas not paying out was gonna be my 13th reason, I know myself!

This is the same year I used to cry to God in my prayers, begging Him, bc everything was going south. One day I gave up begging and stopped trying and just lived (still prayed). Then I started noticing change, doors opening and I felt an overwhelming amount of peace in my life.

i’m actually looking forward to creating my own life this year (a routine based solely on my preferences). In my whole varsity experience I didn’t get to live as myself bc of some of the decisions I made and I’m so excited for this new journey 🤩
