@Srirachachau the times Ashbrook let a tiny bit of "old Bobby" show through in the Return (like "did he HIT you?" or when he's chuckling at Hawk and Frank having no idea about the Major's tube) are some of my favorite performances in the show.

As far as I know the last thing David Lynch ever appeared in was the Beatles ‘64 doc. He doesn’t look well, but every bit of his spirit is there. You realize seeing that concert shaped the rest of his career.
