Yeah I agree, but it does take a long time if ever to come to terms that the unspoken rule that shapes a people pleaser isn’t real and has no real consequence. To come to terms with that also means coming to terms with the fact people pleasing has no real benefit.

Saw a tweet the other day of a life changing advice saying ‘is your help helpful’ and that’s helped me reign in my saviour complex regardless of how pure my intentions are.
Sometimes you cause more damage by exerting energy you just don’t have.
the savior complex is something 6H, 8H and 12H placements share but for different reasons - still it's something to fight against, save yourself first and then let's see what's left to help others
