@MartinSkold2 Might help with recruitment too if there were 50-200 small ships that needed bright young commanders and officers

@RocketPulpHack The history of aviation safety is multiple flight crews pile-driving 300-passenger Airbuses into the ground and then realizing that it's really really important to pull off pitot tube covers before taking off. 64 doesn't sound that bad tbh, that's like one week of F-150 crashes

@UberKierk Modern militaries are unnaturally organized. In the old days, armies were filled with female "camp followers" - wives, concubines, whores, and nurses - so that the all-male part only applied to the marches and battles. Otherwise it was like a moving city

@GramanhFolcwald Nothing surpasses Hitman 2 for me. It would be interesting if a major studio simplified their graphics and plowed their resources into gameplay variety and story

@BerzekSavant @prestonstew_ I read about rumors that the only reason this engagement was possible was because the regular Russian forces stood down their air defenses ie. that because of inter-service rivalry they let the Americans through. Certainly a Spectre gunship would not survive modern air defense

@SpaceAgeHerr One of the big failures of the West is not aggressively testing for IQ early in childhood and moving the intellectually gifted into a more intensive education stream. Probably a nation's most valuable resource is the proportion of its population with high creativity/IQ
