Smart move! The next step is having that kind of representation present in the READING phase....as the foundation is being built. Also instead of going to GLAAD...they could seek out the many queer and trans dramaturgs who are established and can use the opportunity and the check
So apparently the MRS. DOUBTFIRE musical got GLAAD reps in for a runthrough and *actually made changes to material that could have been shitty and hurtful to queer and trans people*.
It really isn’t so hard to give a shit, people. And your show can still be funny.
