Opera in a Box a taster.. On the life & late paintings of Irish artist Mary Swanzy 1882-1978. White card model boxes become the final set; fulfilling my designer's wish to fully realize a show in the doll's house world of the scenography box. 🙏 @ArtsCouncilNI @futurescreensni

The brother was introduced to Buddhist meditation many years ago now. I was delighted to have this practice in common with him. His friends, the best in the world, do not take his spiritual direction overly seriously methinks. #Buddhist #Meditation.

The Irish Times highlights 20 derelict properties in Dublin city centre between the canals. Last year we highlighted 15 others and there are many, many others. Dublin City Council has a derelict sites register online, but it only lists the properties not their owners nor the amounts they are fined for leaving their properties in a state. The owners are listed in a handwritten ledger in City Hall. All local authorities should be compelled to publish the name of derelict site owners online and how much they have incurred in levies.

@nate_postlethwt It is a permanent state of grief, a living death. Being estranged from my one and only who I raised as a single parent is the greatest sadness I could ever imagine experiencing. Being shut down without explanation, negotiation or opportunity to comprehend is harsh.

@so_you_know @ConalCreedon Yep. It's a state of mind as much as anything. The outside eye and ear allows room to observe, without being in or of the world you occupy, I like it. Enjoy being analytical, seeking out story tellers and authenticity.

@ConalCreedon @so_you_know No you do not get more Cork than that, for sure. Gerry Murphy, the poet, small fat boy walking backwards? That Gerry Murphy? Long time no see, no read, no hear his mellifluous tones and gorgeous words.
