@RailTransitOPS In addition to the lack of incidents in other open gangway systems I, personally, feel safer on those because in a non-smoke event (passenger violence/crazy passenger/just annoying-on-phone passenger it is easier to get away quickly and discreetly)

@nclarkclt @AirlineFlyer SHARES assigns the sequence # at check-in (not booking) -- but if that check in is canceled for whatever reason (SDC, IROPS, more) the # is not reused -- even if the same pax checks in again. A few years ago I wound up with SEQ 1, 135, 136, and 190 on the same flight IIRC

I continue to be underwhelmed by @united abandoning passengers in Newark.... No agent @ gate until an hour after board time. No substantive info on flight status until :30 after sked departure -- still no agent here.
