@EricETesla Affordability & experience. If you make your products/services the best at a very affordable price, then it becomes the only option for people to choose. Same thing applies with Tesla's vehicles - if Teslas are cheaper & better than other cars, then why buy anything else.

@mpgenchau @SawyerMerritt @WholeMarsBlog Yes. When you redeem the Tesla Cash, Tesla will send you a form for that tax year cause the Tesla Cash is treated as additional income. The old Tesla Referral Program with just credits did not have any tax implications.

@b2wicey @SawyerMerritt @WholeMarsBlog But did you say "Tesla Credits" (old program) or "Tesla Cash through new Tesla Referral Program"? Cause right now you can use Tesla Cash on any Tesla purchase (obv not 100% sure about Model Y Launch Series but I'd assume it's work).

@DennisCW_ I'm honestly super shocked Tesla's US factories are moving pretty quickly. Hoping most Launch Series are actually delivered between March and April so that Regular Trims won't get delayed.

@Teslarati My only issue with range is obviously you get reduced range in winter weather so it'd be nice to have a high-300 mile range LR AWD car so then you wouldn't have to worry in bad winter weather. That way if you get way less range, it'll at least be something in the 200s.

@SaumureGuy @Teslarati Like some others, just disappointed cause I would've bought immediately if the regular trims of New Model Y were released since they'd likely be priced the same MSRP as old Model Y.

@roberttv686 @TeslaNewswire No problem! It's always exciting since you wait for a while and then finally the day comes where you're gonna be picking it up 🙂

@yourneedler @BLSmith2112 @SawyerMerritt Most likely cause they don't meet the US sourcing requirements for battery and other things so they're using the lease loophole of the EV Tax Credit to bypass it and get the credit.
