Front page on the herald sun today! Super cool to see our latest research shared nationally today across news outlets. Proud to be part of this incredible work, a good news day for brain cancer patients and their families. ❤️
A new cancer therapy that melts tumours from within could be a breakthrough for incurable brain cancer, if it is successful in clinical trials. >

Check out this little interview I did with the BCC! An amazing opportunity to work in a community of brain cancer researchers.
@leesa_lerts is excited to undertake her PhD journey at @WEHI_research with another research rockstar @DrMistyJenkins focused on exploring how our immune system can distinguish between healthy tissues & brain tumours to design targeted therapies:

Weeds and brain cancer might have more in common than you’d think! 🌱 🧠 Stoked to have come runner up in this years WEHI 3MT competition. A real challenge but a great way to think about communicating our science. #WEHI3MT @WEHI_research #scicomm

Such a fun experience live on radio today with @DrShaneRRR for his annual #20phds20mins program on @einstein_agogo. A great chat about the complexities of brain cancer and how I’m developing novel CAR-T cell therapies that can migrate into the brain.

My first radio gig 🤩 Excited to join Dr Shane’s program talking about my PhD project researching novel immunotherapies in brain cancer. Tune in tomorrow 11am-12pm to have a listen!
Time to prepare for tomorrow's episode of @einstein_agogo on @3RRRFM - The 8th Episode (part 1) of #20phds20mins. So excited to meet so many amazing PhD students in studio. Feeling nervous (can I do this?) and excited (love RRR and science).
