@AU5T0N That’s the only way I see it making sense to keep him, but he’s barely played wing and it’s hard to say how effective he would be

@AU5T0N No team has 4 forwards eating anywhere near that much cap. I hate to always bring it back to the cap but it matters And for all the money they spend on these guys, it’s not easy making lines that control the game

@AU5T0N I mentioned their cap hits because that makes it more challenging to find quality guys to play with them. Other than Matthews you can’t just throw the other guys on any line and expect them to dominate. Nylander can dominate offensively, but his defensive game has to be monitored

@AU5T0N 91 and 88 have played together for years. Not because they’re dynamic together, they don’t want to put either guy on the 3rd line. Coming into this season they were outscored over the previous couple years

@AU5T0N They were really bad and had to be broken up. They have been on the same team for 7 years and have a lot of familiarity with each other Obviously they all have incredible talent, but they aren’t the easiest guys to build a lineup with

The Leafs never show up ready for games in Vancouver. Feels like I’m watching the same game on repeat every year. These core guys can’t seem to adjust to anything Anyway, glad they got 34 and 16 back on the same line. Need these guys to feel comfortable

The Leafs are in win now mode. If Dobson is truly available, do everything to get him Similar to Cozens, he would be great for the entire window. He would be the biggest difference maker they could add
