I was back at a local Primary School this morning, to talk about Carrickfergus during the Second World War. They were first school to invite me, last year, so by way of thanks I left them a copy of this by @Martin_Impey Once again, the pupils were so engaged and interested.

Overjoyed that my local independent bookshop @Thesecretbooks1 was able to get me this signed copy of Blitz by @Martin_Impey . Online purchases have their place, but there's something special about buying through a bookshop.

Now, with a much better understanding and appreciation of the Belfast Blitz, one of my key objectives is to bring this to as wide an audience as possible.

@April_1970s @wartimeni NI's Second World War history is often overlooked, even by the local population. Thankfully, Scott and a few others, such as the NI War Memorial Museum, have done a lot to bring it to the fore.
