The "world's largest" battery storage facility has been on fire at the Moss Landing power plant in Monterey County, CA for about 12 hours. The owner/operator @VistraCorp has not posted on X about safety concerns, evacuations, or highway closures. 💰🥇

PFAS may be in the anti-glare/anti-soil coating applied to surface glass of solar panels. PFAS is found in the protective plastic coating on electrical wires. Contamination of ground water and soil may increase on/near solar facilities. NYS was notified.

Oak Hill Solar 1 and Oak Hill Solar 2 approved 2019. As of September 2024 still NOT constructed/operational. Follow the money.
