@browningphilip1 @ntnsndr @mbauwens Seems a lot like the "Warm Data" framework when we incorporate thinking about what we're doing in contexts of care, i.e. what are the impacts on the kind of things that we need for basic human flourishing - relationships, environment, social cohesion? Or even future economies.

@sariazout Don't buy into a story of your own supremacy. Recognise that the timeframes of investors bear little relationship to what you can do with your life. Don't avoid the fear of failure, embrace it. Maintain compassion. Maximize creativity and learning over productivity.

Such a cool idea to offer grants to encourage personal experiments.
I’m turning 34 today! Letting go of linear goals has changed my life. To celebrate my birthday, I’m giving away $3400 to help 4 people become scientists of their own life. Tell me about an experiment you want to run, where $850 would help make it happen. Maybe it’s a video essay, a podcast miniseries, an indie research paper, a series of illustrations, a conference… This could allow you to take some time off work, cover travel costs, purchase supplies, etc. To maximize positive impact, there would ideally be some form of artifact people can consume at scale. This is my first time doing something like this so i’m probably missing things – feel free to ask questions :)

@AskYatharth I have had zero issues with just turning off the notifications and if I am in a situation where there would be useful notifications I am pretty likely to remember to check it, or I keep badges on but not banners. Also, you can try cooking and walking

@fortelabs I'm curious if you have seen any AI solutions to implementing PARA more easily? Particularly things that make it dead easy to be like 'this goes into project x" or even better, 'should this go into project x?'

@mer__edith In some ways, I think it's less about 'speaking up' and more about seeing where this kind of thinking lives within us, and where we might be participating. Why do people choose violence (physical and psychological) instead of trying other ways? Still risky!
