It has nothing to do with the cost of sugar and everything to do with the fact that maybe they may not be able to bake a cake for that child in that circumstance. Whether it may be because their child is dying of cancer and in a hospital or because they’re homeless and living in a shelter or God forbid they’re one of the millions of families living in a vehicle in this country right now. no matter what the circumstances you do not have the right to dictate what those people buy with the funds that the government gave them. The fact of the matter is snap benefits, American citizens making lives easier for your neighbors. That is what our tax dollars are supposed to do. They are not supposed to pay for Sesame Street and Iraq transgender surgeries in Columbia and God knows what else in the fucking Ukraine. American money deserves to stay on American soil benefiting American people. That is why I pay taxes. To benefit my country..
