Many years ago, DBKL dog catchers opened the gate of my family home in KL. When the dogs ran out, they were caught and loaded on the truck. That was when I was told that unleashed/unaccompanied dogs, even with a license, can be counted as strays. Fuck dog catchers.

1. The Shah Alam City Council is planning an operation to catch and kill 500 stray dogs in Setia Alam from April 22 to 24. Volunteers will be rewarded RM30 for each dog caught, according to MBSA’s notice. It also said that dogs caught cannot be claimed.
