@sankofa360 @almaasinobi Sad, but true. Africans don't realize how the rest of the world view us. In their eyes, we don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Until we change the narrative - stop begging for aid, going for development summits when summoned - we'll keep being treated like dirt.

@chude__ Once you understand the political leanings of a news outlet, You can properly analyze their reporting. For example, in the UK, the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph always support the Tories, while The Daily Mirror and The Guardian always support Labour. There's always bias

@basilabia Nigerians have accepted their fate. Our people are ostriches. We'd rather put our heads in a fugazi-esque sand, than face the truth. The truth - that we are a poverty stricken people living in a grossly underdeveloped nation - is too hard to handle. It bruises our collective ego.
