trembling lips as her eyes finally found his. She was scared... but she knew he had to stop Mark - this... version of him - before he could hurt anyone else.
Her eyes flicked to the door, then back to him ; a clear instruction for him to go... before she openly wept. +
Thanks to a new suit ( courtesy of Robot ), she will soon be trying out for a position in the Guardians of the Globe.

Hospital visit out of town ( nothing serious ), and then visiting a friend in their home country for a few days.

Raising a child is so rewarding. It's hard, thankless work, and it only gets harder as they get older.
It's not long before they're rolling their eyes at you, or talking back ; taking you for granted, like you'll always be there.
...But you love them just the same.
Nolan's not perfect, nor was he around very much - being a hero is demanding - but he was a strong enough role model for our son to idolize him.
