Preparing for several College Camps this month including @UCF_Softball , @DukeSOFTBALL , @PackSoftball & @UNCSoftball - @NJUnityMchale C and Ohio native @kylie_folkwein was in to hit and throw at PVS today ❄️ ⛄️ Kylie topped her previous best firing 72MPH 🔥 -expanding on her start last month This was her first hitting session with us Kylie operates out of a no-stride so rather than rework her entire approach- we emphasized when she begins her recruitment pattern and what that looks like. Later we tried to help her follow her legs with connection (🎾) & some direction strategies so that she’s behind the softball. Just like last month with the throwing - she was very coachable and killed it!!! Several similarities with PVS alum (former PA player of the year) @maren_metikosh in how she organized and we used several concepts from our sessions with Mare Special thanks to @BAnthony1028 for helping us as our Faux Pitcher for purposes of timing @CoachBallMalone @CoachTylerHeil @jenn_salling @kaija_gibson @DukeCoachYoung
