A reminder that the last time Trump and others in his administration who didn’t understand how things work and why they’re there in the first place decided to gut things outside their area of expertise, it turned into an absolutely shįt show. An example you may recall:

@jdotarnold @AliceFromQueens What ambition? They’re pulling the plug on programs and entire departments simply because those entities had the misfortune of being scapegoats in right-wing narratives. That’s precisely why they’re targeting them. Their indiscriminate actions are doing far more harm than good.

Trump trying to get a third term is not new.
There’s a lot to unpack here. In addition to pushing open the Overton Window to him being essentially president-for-life like his authoritarian heroes, he also glibly accuses his predecessor and opponent of “treason.”
