@zoink Great take. How do you explain DeepSeek being the top app in the App Store? I found that to be really surprising.

@tuhin It’s mainly an issue with the usage of “cheap” imo. Good ideas are hard. But I still think they are comparatively less hard than skills and execution. Maybe the saying should be: “Good ideas are hard. Execution is harder.” It’s all hard.

@kevingibbon What do you think about the future of Uber? Will they be an aggregator of self driving cars or be disrupted? They own the demand side which seems critical for ride sharing at scale.

@bnj Do you think Microsoft will actually give up access/ownership of OpenAI once AGI is confirmed?

@JedBridges @figma Haha my team would want this for me so they don’t always see me in their files.

Very rarely do all disciplines on a team share this mindset. Rare, but not impossible. If you have it, cherish it. You'll find this team composition behind the most exceptional products though. What to do when you don't have that shared mindset? You lean into it. High tolerance for conflict, low tolerance for mediocrity. And you demonstrate this to peers by deeply understanding the details and articulating the rationale of why it's the right path to take. It's more art than science.

@amfonte It's a good question, without a good answer. I mainly just trust my intuition and personally balance that tension for what I'm recommending to the team. Every project is different. But I don't believe this mindset of getting it right needs to come at the cost of not shipping.

@benblumenrose 100%. I love a good aggressive timeline, and it's the best way I've found to get teams to operate with a sense of urgency. Just saying that a self-imposed timeline should not be *the* guiding light of decisions (which is how many teams sadly operate).

@joeyparsons @Adobe Yes! Would love to meet up. Just let me know when you might be in the city and we’ll make it happen.
