Gosh. I know January is supposed to be slow for book sales after the pre-Christmas rush, but I've only sold two copies world wide in the last month! I know POWs aren't everyone's cup of ersatz tea but that is a tad depressing, especially as its won a couple of awards.

It’s wild and woolly here in Canberra-town. I don’t know what it’s like elsewhere but one of our branches just came down. It landed on the road and fortunately David was here to drag it to safety. Fingers crossed nothing more serious happens. And the wind blows itself out soon.

David's back in the shop and I have the house to myself. Now to get back into my routine. Work (for others), my own research and writing, and all the other things a housewife superstar has to fit in. And morning tea with a good book.
