We arrived in Paris yesterday. First time here. We were shocked at the large number of empty, run down buildings, garbage, etc. we thought it would have been cleaned up for the Olympics. It is a dump!

I know a mechanical contractor who was paid a good sum to retrofit the former prison in Appleton, MN for CV+, as well as a shuttered clinic in Marshall, MN. Lots of $ spent, not one patient served by either location.

I have a friend whose husband of 25 years transitioned. She is still with him/her today, about 3 years later. He has run up huge credit card debt on “women-type” services: nails, cosmetics, hair, etc. Luxury items to most women. It is sad.

I wish someone would explain how this will coincide with Federal dollars through the F&RL program. Also, will "ala carte" items be eliminated? I raised two girls (not mine) who qualified for F&RL. It was the ala carte items that cost me as much as $30 a day, or $150/wk/child.

I’m a small business owner. Our employees were given $740 a week from MNUI. In addition, they received $600 stimulus payment. That’s $1,340 to stay home and NOT work. We had some resistance from employees to return to work.

Daughter works in LTC. Was assigned to “COVID wing” and even forced to work WITH COVID due to lack of willing/healthy employees. Contracted COVID and has antibodies. Now works in SD, and is being forced to vaccinate or resign by 11/1.
