We're proud to share that a project supported by The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has been awarded funding under the HRB/HRCI Joint Funding Scheme 2024. The INNEACH project, led by Dr Catherine Houghton (@houghtoncath) from the School of Nursing and Midwifery (@nursemidwifeUoG) at (@uniofgalway) has been awarded funding which will focus on intergenerational programmes to enhance social connectivity for those living with dementia. This 24-month initiative promises to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families across Ireland. Collaboration is key, and we're excited to work alongside the research team, PPI contributors, and other stakeholders. Together, we're committed to creating a future where every person with dementia can remain connected and valued in their community.
