For 4 people the cost will be ~240, better take a cab than paying this much that too without last mile connectivity and convenience ๐ฅด
#NammaMetro fare hike - The sudden jump of Rs.10 in each fare stage is ridiculous. Eg. WFD to KR Pura, earlier fare was Rs.35 & new fare is Rs.60. Almost 70% hiked. A fare stage increment with Rs.5 would have at least given some relief. Earlier we had fares as 10,15,18,20,25 etc

Man stop fooling around, centre has equal stakes in Namma Metro and also in decision making so don't tell me they didn't approve price hike themselves Maybe try to put words into action from your end
Karnataka Govt, instead of incentivising public transport and discouraging private vehicles, is doing the exact opposite with the Metro Fare Hike. Bengaluru metro fares should be at par with other metros in the country. While commuters in Delhi pay โน30 for a 12 km ride, Bengaluru will have to pay โน60 - Double the amount. A 50% hike, with max fare going from โน60 to โน90 is totally unjustified. Hike in bus fares coupled with big metro fare hike puts burden on the wallet of people and discourages use of public transport. No other metro in the country charges this high, nothing beyond โน60 and the hike is extremely steep. I request @OfficialBMRCL to re-look at fare revision, raise the non-fare revenue via ads, leasing of spaces for commercial use by studying the best practices across the metros. This is the only way to put Bengaluru fare chart on par with other metros in the country and not pressurise people for extra revenue.
