Ideally as per the MOU, insurance companies should increase the packages of all affiliated hospitals every 2 or 3 years, but most of the insurance companies nowadays do not increase the packages for 4-5 years (small hospitals and nursing homes) and they increase the premium every year,man power cost and medicine cost increases every year. But Insurance companies increases premium every year . For big hospitals/ Big people they are ready to pay any thing . For small hospitals and common man they are ready to reject any claim. Gradually all small hospitals and nursing homes will be closed. Government hospitals are not adequate to care for our population. Welcome to the world of corporatization.
