@AleksiReito Slightly bigger question but I suspect the answer will be the same! The absence of evidence is not evidence of its absence of course, so let's see if all this work on the right concentrations and spin cycles gets us anywhere one day...

@northwoods1980 @MarcRankin4 Yep PROMs may have been useful, but would be tricky to interpret when contralat hip was the control. Hip joint space narrowing <2mm seems to correlate with pain ( so there's some validity in it's use as a clinically relevant metric. @prem_ramkumar

@DrDerekOchiai Point taken about bite, but I was under impression that restoring normal shape on fluoro/xr is not correlated with outcomes (philippon 2019 KSSTA). Is there alternative/better data?

@deepamusafir1 @centerofhip @bonesmith_ @DrBhavinJadav @traumaticum @JanetConwayy @FractureDoc @stevemchale @InvictaOrtho Same, as up to 9% shaft fractures may have neck fractures missed on XR but seen on CT (tornetta 2007 JBJS). If a fine cut neck CT is performed routinely and is negative, maybe not necessary to screw neck, but depends on local availability/protocol/timing.

@rkh_md Potentially useful data to counsel patient and family about risk and outcomes, but not a decision aid on the appropriate procedure
