It looks like an in vivo result - but it's not. Nupur and Kostas's new paper shows that bioreactors enable bone remodelling around implants to be tested in the lab. Ideal for optimising novel implant fixation technologies with lower animal burden & cost.

Earlier this week JJ led a team of 8 @ImperialMechEng students to girls school outreach. A great day of engineering and fun for 100 year 8 (12-13 yrold) girls! #WomenInSTEM @imperialcollege
