As a resident of Peel and Ottawa, I have noticed a huge difference in the way people talk about the increase in cases.
People blame the largely POC population in Peel for being unable to follow the rules without mentioning other cities like Ottawa.
It’s unfair and racist.
Today, Ontario is reporting 204 cases of
#COVID19
as over 31,000 tests were completed. Locally, 27 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 16 reporting no new cases. Toronto is reporting 63 cases with 47 in Ottawa and 35 in Peel.

Today we pay tribute to Papaji, Capt. Inder Singh Grewal, a veteran of WWII.
He enlisted in 1938 and saw action from 1939-1945 in SE Asia, Burma and Indonesia.
For his service, he was awarded medals and even mentioned in the dispatches. His medals were so important to him.

In May, we took advantage of cheap airfare and booked refundable tickets to Hawaii in early Dec. ($500 round trip from TO!)
In Nov. cases were rising and travel bans were still in effect so we cancelled.
The break would’ve been great, but it wasn’t the right thing to do.

’s 35 year campaign, I found out that they helped to adopt 86 orphans to ensure they had a new life.

To celebrate 35 years, the WSO will be sharing 35 stories.
As a result of the violence and human rights violations in 1984, many children were left as orphans. In response to this, WSO along with the Sikh Community adopted 86 children.
