@mynerdyhome That timeline shock the table and Jed Wallace suing her in TX flipped it. She named him in the CA complaint that she handed to NYT so she could depose him for information then didn't file a suit. They don't have compelling evidence so she's fishing.

@MikeSilver I get that the Superbowl experience may have been great for visitors but it was hell for residents. This was not a blockbuster event for local businesses and getting around town was a nightmare. Do this every year? No thank you.

Marriage is a business and having a shared account is fine. But it is the height of foolishness to not maintain a separate account. Because all of your partners' money being frozen, seized or compromised means yours is too.
Hard to believe the NYT published this, but they did and it's true. Couples who share accounts -- who cultivate a "we before me" approach to money -- are more likely to be happily and stably married.

@LAGovJeffLandry @NFL Mardi Gras definitely takes priority over the Superbowl for local businesses because they know they'll make extra money. Not the case with the Superbowl. Also the amount of day to day disruption for setting this up was terrible for residents. I'd give it a hard no.
