How lucky was I to spend the last ever episode with one of the greatest Doctors legends? Double lucky because a day spent with Aid was a day spent laughing so there were no tears in the final day at the Campus. Until next time, team 🫡

Kay truly was one of the loveliest people I have worked with. The game nights she organised were my favourite part of filming series 1. they were the first time I actually felt like a part of the DG family. She was so brilliant, so talented and so lovely. Thinking of her family💔

8 years ago today my first episode aired and I officially became a part of this family ❤️ . We got given this photo in a frame on the last day and I LOVED it. I carried it everywhere for months. as you can tell 😂 . I love these people and all the people who came after them ❤️

There’s no praise higher than your cast mates, and of my cast mates there was no one higher than you EDW. All the love… in truth, the lack of eye contact was in part because I was scared I’d lose my nerve if I watched your beautiful work too closely. ❤️.
@KiaPegg was so astonishing in this episode of @bbcdoctors it took my breath away. Literally! I think I stopped breathing in the big scene we had together. I hope she remembers us @BBCDoctors buddies when she's an international star?! X E.

Two years ago exactly I was going to bed before shooting my first day at Doctors, completely oblivious to the life I was about to walk into. Tonight I go to bed with a full up heart, having had the most beautiful day in a job that has given me so much. Thank you x.

So a few weeks ago I made a group chat of all TDG kids that I had the numbers of- from series 1 right up until the present day. Some of these people haven’t even met each other but we’re family. Seeing everyone wish each other a happy new year makes me so happy ❤️.

A bittersweet win for sure. One of the only silver linings to come from the cancellation of our wonderful show has been the outpouring of love, not just from our audience but from our colleagues in the industry- especially those in soap land ❤️.

Just left work for the week & it’s strange. It still makes me so happy every day, despite heading into the final stretch there’s still so much joy. Maybe it’s denial, but I think it’s just proper gratitude. What a dream it’s been 💕

My character on a CBBC show was in an evolving, heterosexual relationship for 3 series- these people don’t have a problem with children seeing relationships. They have a problem with children seeing LGBTQ+ relationships. It’s pure homophobia. CBBC’s response is perfect.

So tonight was the big night. We said goodbye to CB.@connorjbyrne knows how much I love him and what I’m thankful for. He’s basically like a second dad. It was hard to say goodbye. even if I pretended that it wasn’t. Now go and tell him how great he is (maybe not too much)

One of the biggest joys of Doctors was getting a location adventure- bonus points if it featured Chris. I learnt something every time I got to work with him. I think this might have been the last day’s filming we did together, but it was a good one!

There needs to be a TV series that shoots for 52 weeks of the years. A training ground for real working-class producers, writers, and directors. Amplifying diverse voices and bringing authentic stories to the screen. F**k it, I’ll make it! Anyone wanna help??.

Thinking about when I got a valentine’s card in year 6. The kid left it in my drawer with a bar of chocolate and I ate the chocolate on morning break and then gave him back the card and told him to leave me alone 😭.

I spent the summer somewhere I never imagined going back to… the DG- but this time, working behind the camera as the acting coach for series 13. I had a great time & learnt so much- it was also really healing for me and bought back some of the love I thought I’d lost forever.

This is so heartbreaking to read. I didn’t know Archie well, but we sat chatting for a while at the BAFTA’s last year. He was the sort of person who you immediately felt comfortable with, he was so kind and funny. My thoughts go out to his family, friends, cast and crew 💔.
We're so sorry to have to tell you that Archie Lyndhurst, who so brilliantly played Ollie in So Awkward on CBBC, has very sadly died after a short illness. Archie will be hugely missed by all who worked with him, and by all the fans who laughed along with Ollie in the show. ❤️
