That is why Medical Scientists went on strike 2 years ago, and the issue remains unresolved. So we will join our colleagues from @INMO_IRL and @forsa_union_ie in balloting our members for industrial action. Because the risk to patients is too high if we don't.

@med_indonews @MedLabAssoc @ACSLM1 @CORUIreland The solution here is a simple one - more Medical Scientists. Last year, funding was withdrawn for a postgraduate entry scheme to recruit. That decision must be reversed immediately before this problem escalates further.
