It is with great sadness we inform you of the sudden death of Mr Clough, teacher of mathematics.
As a school community, we are very shocked and saddened by this tragic news and our thoughts are with Mr Clough’s family and friends at this very sad time.
Our school is lucky enough to be a home for a family of ducks (that's 7 ducklings and parents), they are currently inhabiting one of our quads.
Please be mindful of them; they clearly feel safe in here.

Bushcraft trip - Having arrived safely, our pupils are having great time at the camp. Yesterday they cooked lunch on the fire and took part in den building exercise.
We've just learned that the tree planting project our pupils took part in last December has been awarded the Environmental Award 2020 by Wakefield Civic Society. 🏆

YEAR 11: tomorrow is the official last day of school for Y11 pupils.
After the morning exam, pupils are invited to a celebration buffet where they have a chance to say good-bye to their tutors/teachers, sign their shirts and take photos.
Prom is taking place on 20 June.

Massive congratulations to our pupil, Amy Hunt, who competed as part of the West Yorkshire Schools athletics team in the English Schools trials. Amy finished 2nd nationally in her age category for pole vault, achieving a new PB of 3.05m along the way. Fantastic achievement!🥈👏🏼

Fraser Stewart McCarrison in Year 9 ran in the 60m sprint in the England Athletics Indoor Age Group Championships at Sheffield. Not only did he manage to qualify in the championships, he also got to the semi final and achieved a new PB! Well done Fraser! 👏🏻👏🏻

Service instructors.
All Year 7 pupils will receive the crucial training so that they can perform CPR and perhaps save a life one day.
