at the time. We ran two teams, one exclusively dedicated to Foot & Mouth. We rewrote and re-recorded scenes practically daily.

In a short coffee break in my Stirchley garden, I saw a busy coal tit flitting back and forth to the feeder, to the joyful song of a robin in the tree next door. And overhead, the lazy flight of a heron.

There is a perfectly good word for a holiday in your own country. It’s “holiday”
To imply that it’s only a holiday if it’s abroad is deeply insulting to many people who can’t afford or can’t take foreign holidays.
