The abortion ban isn’t just dangerous for women who want or need abortions. It’s dangerous for women who miscarry or have stillbirths. When abortion becomes a crime, authorities start questioning if a miscarriage/stillbirth was the mother’s fault & if she *tried* for a loss.

I can still remember what my own sobs sounded like in my silent hospital delivery room when my doctor told me my baby was dead. The entire floor probably heard my sobbing. There is no sound that compares. To have a nurse mock that? 😔 How can you be a nurse & also be heartless?
This is an epidemic at this point like this nurse or nursing student? Mocks mental illness, don’t even know what the second part means and then infant loss? What the hell is going on.

In WI, abortion is legal up before 20 weeks. When my son was stillborn at 37 weeks, and I was internally hemorrhaging, & had every pre-e symptom in the book, still— the very first thing they did was give me a drug test. That’s always the first thought.

Get to decide if it should be shared or not. Personally, all of my Nikko photos are public because I’m fighting a stigma and raising awareness. Preeclampsia and a placental abruption killed my son and almost killed me, too. I’m never going to shut up about it.🤷🏼♀️

You literally give birth. If you have a change in movement—either increased OR decreased movement after baby has a pattern, you need to go in & have an NST & possible ultrasound done. Babies do not run out of room. They do not get too tired to move before labor. Stillbirth is

There are things you can do to reduce the risk of stillbirth. There are things you can do to reduce the risk of preeclampsia. Doctors do NOT know everything— especially in the US where giving birth is incredibly dangerous (for a 1st world country) for both moms & babies.
