Many of us that served during the cold war got to see communism up close, whether it be on the DMZ in Korea, or on the borders of Germany, etc. and can tell you that communism ( or progressivism here) isn't any fun, and that an armed populace is the surest way to keep it at bay.

It has been my experience that quite a few of the most vocal anti-gunners are already prohibited persons. They think we shouldn't own guns because they have impulse control issues and caught a felony and aren't allowed to own firearms.

Here in Georgia you are allowed 2 bucks and 10 does. Shooting does is a critical part of herd management. A 4-5 year old doe is just as wary and hard to hunt as a mature buck. I hunted a big nannie doe in my area for about 3 years and could never get a shot at her, she was huge.
