and family picked this up for me at Worlds. I used it all season in 2013-2014 as motivation to earn one myself and qualify for my 1st Worlds. I made it by the skin of my teeth and will always keep this beat up deckbox as a reminder of how hard I (we) worked.

Why do bag checks if you aren’t actually going to check past the top layer of the bags? I’m all for bag checks to keep us safe, and anyone who remembers Worlds 2015 should be as well. But don’t half ass it.

I truly believe that most players don't cheat. I also believe that most players don't even consider cheating.
I think the process of personal growth and improvement should always happen away from the game and events, and rehabilitation can only occur after such a period.

There should be special prize packs for Regionals. They could even seed in the stamped Turo or Geeta or whatever to be in every pack and then we can have 5 other cards with a special Regionals stamp. Extra points if the stamp has the city name.

The changes to the ban list are welcomed and necessary. They also show a willingness to ban cards before they become a problem. Steps are being taken in the right direction, though we need to take a few more steps until Expanded is really in a healthy spot.

If I've learned anything from working in software development, it's the importance of stepping away to clear your mind. Countless times I've struggled with a bug or an issue for an hour or so, went away for lunch, and came back to fix it in 5 minutes. Probably applicable to life.
