Tomorrow my school will be recognized as a National Demonstration School for NABSE (National Association of Black School Educators). Though we are far from perfect, we are making progress! Thank you for this recognition! Our team of dedicated educators are doing the work!

MY VIEW: @LesleyYounge, co-author of "Nearer My Freedom: The Interesting Life of Olaudah Equiano," conducted a writing workshop at @KramerMiddle. Students learned about Equiano's anti-slavery crusade before annotating passages from his original book to create poetry.
