My friend, Ed, turned 95 yesterday. He has 2 bullet wounds & 5lbs of shrapnel still in his body from his time in WWII & Korea. He’s exercised his tail off the past few months, and danced his heart out for 3 hrs to the Andrew Sisters during his birthday party. What a man. ❤️

A family friend had a brain aneurysm yesterday while running. She is still alive, clinging to life. Mother of a freshman in college & sophomore in HS. Neither of her children can see her right now, nor can her husband. I can’t imagine. Please pray for a miracle.

I’ve spent Thanksgiving with my WW2 (101st Fox Company) friend, Ed, the past two years. Before the world shutdown, my family took him to the museum in New Orleans. Priceless. All of it. ❤️

Rejected by Texas as a senior in HS. Went juco for a semester, applied again & got accepted. A year later, I stood on the sidelines beside Coach Mack Brown as Vince Young crossed the goal line to beat USC. Made it that much sweeter.

Ed passed away last night on the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor at the age of 97. He was adored by many. We will miss him.

Ed Snow made the jump on D-Day at the age of 17 with the 101st Division, Fox Company. I had the great fortune to talk with him about the invasion and his time during the war a couple of years ago at the WWII museum in New Orleans. Priceless experience. ❤️🇺🇸
