Re-reading The timeless way of building - An old classic by Christopher Alexander. I’ve always wondered why some places feel great. Was it the Gang of Four (design patterns) that first pointed me to this book? Probably was, as Christopher explains with some nice examples how patterns are used in designing spaces.
